Uninstall and reinstall Real Player Free (Windows)
How do I completely remove Real Player from my PC, then reinstall it?
First: Uninstall the Real Player.1. Make sure Real Player is closed.
2. Click the Windows Start button, point to Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. (In Windows 7, go to Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features).
3. Select Real Player and click the Change/Remove or Uninstall button.

3. Select Real Player and click the Change/Remove or Uninstall button.
4. The Uninstallation of Real Player dialog appears, showing check box choices of components that are available for uninstall.
5. Uninstall all the components.
Caution: Before you delete your Library, please be aware that deleting it will not delete your music files, but you will have to recreate all your playlists. You can back them up or export them if you like.
Next: Delete the Real Player folders.
To delete the folders for Real Player located at:
c:\program files\real\Real Player
c:\program files\common files\real\
1. Go to My Computer.
2. Go to C:\ or Local Disk (C:\).
3. Go to the Program Files folder.
4. Go to the Real folder.
5. Delete the Real Player folders: c:\program files\real\Real Player
6. Go back to the Program Files folder.
7. Go to the Common Files folder.
8. Delete the Real folder: c:\program files\common files\real\
Finally: Reinstall Real Player.
